Farmer’s platter
Preparation
A light dinner on the terrace with some friends, or a traditional Piedmont 'marenda sinoira' snack, there is nothing better than traditional flavours. Prepare a platter of salam d’la duja, fidighina, lard with herbs and donkey salami. Complete the fare with two aperitif classics, sweet and sour Borretane onions and pickled gherkins. Do not forget the bread, possibly wholemeal or rye to bring out the taste of the meat, and a good bottle of wine. To make it even more genuine and traditional, top it off with a large slice of Gorgonzola. You're guaranteed to succeed!
