Spicy focaccia sandwiches
Ingredients for 4 people
One piece of focaccia cut in squares - as many as needed - one ‘Romano Mainelli’ cured spicy sausage, a few sliced of fresh, crispy lettuce and mayonnaise.
Preparation
Cut the spicy sausage in slices approximately half a centimetre thick. Cut the focaccia bread in square with sides of 5 cm and cut them in half in a longitudinal sense. Spread a little mayonnaise on one half, add a leaf of lettuce (dry it well after washing it, of the focaccia will get soaked) and a slice of sausage. Close and secure with a toothpick.
